My Story
I am Emily, a driven and passionate journalist who prides herself in uncovering and exploring stories that matter. My journalism journey began in 2023 when I joined the Arbiter - Boise State's newspaper, as a Culture Reporter. Since then, I have grown my expertise in journalism, becoming the Culture Editor at the Arbiter. Additionally, I lent my skills as an intern for the Idaho Press, where I sharpened my investigative and writing skills.
I am an aspiring journalist who is passionate about investigative pieces and TV journalism. Writing has always been my first love, and I am dedicated to honing my skills even further. Here is a picture of my kitten with my first printed article, journalism (and cats) is where my heart lies. I am not one to give up easily, and that has been the key to my success. I believe in working hard, staying true to myself, and continuing to push forward, no matter what obstacles come my way. My writing skills are strong, and I am confident that they will only continue to improve with time.
